Sitting outside the train station. So I hear, the train is two hours behind! How is that even possible? Please pray for my patience! I love y'all!

Oh nuts! I hope that's all it was is 2 hours late and you are on your way now. I am eating breakfast and will be off to work soon. Home Group was great last night but I found out from my husband about a bad undercurrent there. Tell you more later. Pray for us!
Well...I imagine train stations are excellent places to people watch. And overhear random conversations. I always say "it's not eavesdropping if you're talking loud enough for me to overhear you." ;)
I just found your journal. As is the norm for me I scrolled down a few entries and then I found the one to check out the first entry you ever made. Yes, dear heart I was crying...still am.....What a wonderful sweet spirit you are. I will continue to visit from time to time. Keeping you in my prayers on the smoke! I don't have any patience either so good luck with that on the train. (Hugs) Indigo
Hello. Was asked to call round to see how you were. Notice in the sidebar that you are suffering with cancer, and just want you to know that you're not alone. I'll pass word round for others to call round as well. Hope your train wasn't delayed any more than two hours.
I was just flipping and linking to journals and came across yours. Is this entry from your cell phone? I had to go back to your first entry, and, of course, bawled like a baby. You and your sister are truly blessed to have had each other. I will pray for patience and strength. Hugs n Love, Chris
Hello, dear! Followed your link from someone's sidebar. I did read the first entry for the title explanation. ;o) My prayers are with you on this journey and on your recent loss of a beloved Aunt. - Barbara
Just found your journal, and wanted to leave a note for you. I really enjoyed reading the "All About Me". I got a kick out of the "when I got a pee, I got to pee" statement, lol. I look forward to seeing more posts from you. You seem like a hoot! :-)
I wish I could travel on the Orient Express one day and pretent I was Mata Hari or sometthing crazy like that. I remember 60Minutes doing a piece on it a long time ago. Not sure how well I'd do traveling by train on a regular basis. Glad you feel like traveling.
((((((((((((HUGSTOYOu)))))))))))))))Hi there,I am new to your journal, just wanted to stop by and say HI.I am not a very patience person either.I am sorry you have to go through so much.I will be praying for you.
I just have to comment to all of you who have commented because this is just WONDERFUL! Irene is my best friend hands down and your outpouring of love and support from across the world is FABULOUS! I cherish all of you for your kind words and prayers. I really wish you all could meet her in person. She is a one of a kind; a precious soul; and she knows how to leave an impression! She is an expert in belly laughter and has a great ear for gossiping or listening. She is as real as it gets and has an uncanny knack for knowing when there is something wrong with someone else. She gives great hugs and is not afraid to cry. She is a beautiful person and your support means EVERYTHING! THANK YOU!!!
Hello!! My name is Irene. My family calls me Rene, pronounced Reenie. I
was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer Stage IIIc, Christmas Eve 2001. You
know it is NEVER good news, when your doctor calls you and says he's
waiting in his office for you, to give you test results! Especially,
when it is a holiday and everyone wants to get home early!! So, on that
day my journey began and here it continues.
Some might say I am fiesty, stubborn, sarcastic, and maybe even a bit
high maintenance!! I can't say that I disagree!!!!!!!!! I am a people
person. I have a huge and compassionate heart. I am extremely
protective of those that I love and care about....play nicely with them
or I bite hard. :) I am not vengeful or bitter. I don't get angry much,
but do get my feelings hurt easily because I am hypersensitive. I
believe if God gave me my angel wings today, I'd be off to heaven
having touched many lives. I like to give advice and help people feel
better about themselves. I like driving but I am terrible at it, and
worse following directions and finding my way around. I am not very
patient, and when I say I have to pee...I REALLY have to pee. :) I have
no tolerance for stupidity or ignorance. I am passionate about
writing, singing, music, dancing, stamping and my nieces, and nephew!!!!
I also enjoy mob movies, football (The Eagles ROCK!!!), and I'm
beginning to know all about bowling. I love photography, especially in
black and white. Van Gogh, Pablo Neruda, Brian Andreas, and Anais Nin
are all some of my favorites. I collect angels, have way too many
shoes....and MUST go whale watching with my sister at least once before
I die!! Gerber daisies are my favorite flower, especially yellow ones.
My favorite perfume is Samsara. I wear glasses, love my cleavage, lips,
and eyes. I have four tattoos and though I'd like a few
more....apparently, I'm done! I like to fall asleep with my window
slightly open, no matter what time of year it is. However, Fall is my
absolute favorite season. I don't mind silence, but I am afraid of the
complete dark. I have a phobia about green beans and spiders as well. I
also have this weird quirk about texture and foods. My sister does too,
so stop making fun of me!! :) I love the smell of fresh baked bread and
men's cologne. My favorite candle is called Midsummer's Night. I still
make snow angels, BUT I'd rather not play in the snow or ski.
Regardless of all my "natural" padding, my tush gets way too cold, too
quickly! I would rather have beautiful flowers sitting on every table
in my home than diamonds. YES, that is the truth!! I appreciate the
simplicity of life ....thunderstorms, butterflies, star gazing,
sunsets, belly laughter, good conversation, friends, family, foods and
dark chocolate. I am hopelessly in love with an amazing man, who
understands me better than I do myself!!!! I am a survivor. I have
learned many lessons the hard way in life. So, I try to live each day
in the moment, for the moment! As odd as this may seem, I thank God for
the obstacles in my life. I would never be able to see the beauty of
life and have such gratitude without first experiencing the tragedy and
pain. Welcome to my world. Please introduce yourself, and stay awhile.
Thanks!!
