Simple Sunday

I'm watching the Eagles vs Cowboys game.  Sigh.... it's just not good. Some might say, pathetic.

I want to start this entry off by asking for extra prayers for Lenore and Nathan.  I'll give you an update on both of them tomorrow.  For now, let's pray for healing and comfort.

Mom and Dad were working at the new house all day today.  They took Cassie dog with them, so it was kind of quiet here.  Stephen and I spent the majority of the day watching PBA tournaments and football.  Oh he isn't here....we have phone dates.  I know, it seems silly but it really helps fill the void with the distance between us.

I'm going to Good Will tomorrow to drop off everything I didn't sell at the yard sale.  I tried to convince Mom to let me take her stuff too. She refused though!  Pamela, I tried to be part of the solution!!  It's your turn now!!

Below are pictures of my nieces and nephew on Halloween.  I know I am sharing them a little late!  Sorry!  You should all know, that Sarah designed all the pumpkins!  She's a VERY talented girl!

I feel good, though I think I have a cold.  My doctor says even if I don't need a coat, wear one.  My immune system is too vulnerable and shouldn't be compromised. Ummmm...I thought it already was!! I'll put a coat on....MOM!!!

I'm going to close this now.  I want to finish watching the Eagles get slaughtered.  Don't forget to count your blessings before you go to sleep tonight and remember, do it now.  Tomorrow may never come.

I sure do love y'all!!

Please Say Prayers For:

* Nathan he is back at home, continuing to win the battle.* Ms Bobby ~ she is being treated with radiation. * Mr. Russo ~ continuing to win the battle. * Ms Pammy ~ recovering from surgery and winning the battle. * Lenore ~ she's having a recurrence but continues to fight and win the battle. * Cindy ~ she's in remission!! * Tammy she's in remission!!  * Momma Joyce ~ she had a successful surgery and is home recovering. * Ms Margie ~ she is winning her battle with breast cancer.  * Krissy's husband, John who continues to win the battle. *Trish ~ she is continuing to win her battle with breast cancer. *Sugar ~ she is continuing to win her battle with cancer. *Jay Carey and his family. He is in Iraq fighting the war.*Frances and her son, Matthew.  He is in Afghanistan.

If this is your first time reading my journal, PLEASE go back to my first entry on 11-15-06 to read about the title, MEET ME AT THE BREAKFAST TABLE!! Thanks!

I watched a little football yesterday with the husband, but kept having to look away as those poor souls kept getting crunched.  It made me grab my sides, it has got to hurt, LOL.  We were watching the Colts and I think the Patriots, but I could be wrong.  I wish I had the time for a yard sale, so I go straight to just donating it.  One thing I have held onto is my wedding dress from my first marrige.  No one in the family wants it.  They say its too old-fashioned and all the girls want summer weddings.  Mine was in February, so it was a Winter gown.  It sure was beautiful though.  The other problem is that no one can wear a size petite 7/8.  I tried selling it and no takers.  I need to go online and do some checking to see if there are agencies out there that take donated wedding gowns.  Loved the photos of the kids!
