The Phone Call

Me: Hello

Nurse: Irene?

Me: Yes

Nurse: The doctor wants you to come in on Monday to go over your test results.

Me: Oh that can't be good.

Nurse: You know I'm not allowed to tell you anything.

Me: Yes, I know...but the last time a doctor told me he wanted me to come into the office to get my test results, I found out I had cancer. (chuckling)

DEAD SILENCE

Me: Hello?

Nurse: Yes, well is 1:00 pm ok?

Me: Sure, thanks. Have a great weekend!!

Nurse: You too Ms Felkoff.

The least she could have done was humor me!!! Ha ha!  This is a form of torture I'm certain!!

I'm off to dinner with Mom and Dad.  I love y'all!!

I am glad to see that you are not hibernating in gloom.  How could you move to a place that doesn't know how to handle you?  Not that the nurses up here are any better...LOL!  Keep in mind that no matter what the doctor tells you on Monday, you have the power to overcome all obstacles that come in your way.   You were put on this earth to make a difference and while you have made a huge difference in my life......your work is not done yet.  Remember you said you'd live to see me get married and sister, let me tell you, you will be living for a very long time!  All joking aside, you are an amazing, beautiful, caring, fun, loyal, and strong person and no matter what happens you have a huge cheering squad waiting to hear what the next chapter is going to entail.  Just don't avoid the world when you see the doctor, let the people who love you give something back to you, let us be there!

Have a great weekend and I look forward to HEARING from you!  Call me:-)

Sending many hugs from myself and my brat!
Love ya,
Michelle

I have to agree with Mee-Meet.  You are here for a reason and you're here for the long haul sister! *highfive*
We will always pray for you.  And I think that was kinda crummy that the nurse left it as such.  A simple "The doctor would like to meet with you on Monday, are you available at 1pm?" would have sufficed!

The south has cute men and good iced tea but they aren't ready for you sister!

I love you.  Please post an update or call.  I'm thinking of you always.  You make me call you after Izzy's appointments, I expect the same from you ;)

You're an incredible woman with an immense amount of strength that I can only envy.  Be good to yourself and know you have many people always thinking, praying and wanting to be with you.

I Love You more than you'll ever know; more than words or emotions could ever express.  You're the twinkling star that keeps me going.  All I have to do is look to the sky and see a star; there you are - always right by my side.

Have a Kleenex! ~Laughing~
Love Always,
~Your RED~
