Just under an hour ago my dear sister got her angel wings. She is sitting at the breakfast table knowing we will be there shortly. Our time here is so temporary. Please pray for our family.

I just got the notice of Irene's passing. I am so sorry. I am fairly new to her journal, But read all her enteries when I found her through a fellow j-land writer. She was such a joy. She brought a smile to my face through her words and her loving and positive attitudes with life. She loved her family so much. I was saddened to read in Guido's journal that Irene had passed away. She so loved life and her family too. I was always amazed at how she fought through all her pain and discomfort and still kept looking ahead and upbeat.
God took pity on her and called her home.
May she rest in peace.

My heart is heavy...I met Irene in 1998 while living in Maryland. I moved out of state in 2000 and have since moved again. Something led me to this site less than a month ago after having no contact with Rene since 2001 and I have quietly been following Irene's steps through life. I didn't intrude and say hi after all these years...I don't know why...it just didn't feel right. Irene and I were always spiritually in tune with one another...she will always be a part of my spirit...so here's to Rene...free from a broken body...her soul will forever shine!
